Your owners manual tells you exactly what the fluid capacity is for a pan change and a complete change. The filter is located inside the pan which must be removed. I suggest you have this done by a dealer and have a complete fluid change done. Changing only the fluid in the pan will normally be only a couple of quarts. You need to change all the fluid which requires a more involved change. Do not allow anyone to flush the system. This will sometimes cause you problems as it may break loose small particles. This is a very messy job if you do not have the proper equipment.

You will need to change the Oil and filter, spark plugs, spark wires, fuel filter, air filter, oxygen sensor, thermostat, drain flush and refill the cooling system, and (if needed): change the breaks, rotate the tires, and change the transmission fluid.

If you just need to change the fluid, all you need is a metric socket set. There is one bolt under the pan that you loosen, the fluid will drain from there. If you plan to change the transmission filter, you need to remove the pans (it has about 20 bolts that you need to loosen), then 4-6 bolts holding the filter, you need to remove them. Before doing that, you need the following parts: Transmission filter Transmission gasket Regards, Brian
