There is a plug on the bottom of the transmission to drain it. You will need to heat up the fluid before you drain it. Be very carefull of the hot fluid.

Usually, I would remove the dipstick for the transmission and a funnel that is small enough to fit in there and that's how I add transmission fluid. You have to make sure you add the right amount and use the specified transmission fluid for that car.

Hyundai Transmission Fluid HY SPIII. Use nothing else.

You take it to a dealer or lube shop and have them pump out the old and replace with new fluid. The reason for this is that you want to replace all the fluid in the transmission and the torque converter at the same time. If you try to do it yourself you'll be left with fluid in the torque converter which will contaminate the new fluid. Costs anywhere from 125.00 to 165.00

If you need to change the transmission fluid in your Hyundai XG350, it's best to have a trained, certified technician perform the service for you. However, if you want to attempt to change the fluid on your own, you first remove the drain plug, allow the fluid to drain completely, replace the plug, and add the new fluid in the dipstick hole.
