this is howOn the transmission itself there are two plugs. Typically one is higher than the other.These plugs are going to look like the top of a bolt.The Drain plug is the lower one, and the fill plug is the higher one.Check your owners manual for the specified fluid used in your transmission.Typically 80w90 oil is used but you car may be different.Lefty loosy righty tighty will get them out and back in with the proper size wrench.I would recommend (after it is done draining) (leave the plug out)squeezing some new oil into the transmiision,to flush out anything left behind.Also when draining, removing the fill plug will allow the oil to drain quicker.
