I suggest that when purchasing the new one(s) you ask the assistant to show you. It is far easier to watch and learn, and should take all of about twenty seconds. They are only clipped on using a black plastic fixing. Halfords or similar are good.
The first responder (above) has obviously never tried this. I feel your frustration. Here is the right answer.
The first trick is to know that you do not need to pull the wiper all the way back off the glass for one thing. The second trick is to know that to get the wiper coupling to slide out of the "j" shaped end of the arm you need to squeeze apart the two tiny clips of the underside of the coupling. Once you have done this then the thing will slide out of the hook of the "j" and the rest is easy.
I know - I have just done this - enormously frustrating until you know the second tip and then it is all a piece of cake.
Have fun!

If the windscreen wiper is electric or controlled by a switch, it has a fuse. The wiper fuse on a Peugeot 206 is located in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
You can change the wiper blades by removing the retaining clip to the wiper blade arm. The wiper blade will come off and can be replaced.
take wiper bolt of then take bolts of from under boot discconect wire then refit new 1
Take a close look at how the wiper blade is attached to the wiper arm to get a visualization of the attachment type. Then see sources and related links below for wiper blade installation videos.

The 2001 Toyota 4Runner has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.
The wiper is just the part of the windscreen wiper assembly - usually rubber, although other materials can be used - that comes into contact with the screen. The Frame holds the wiper blade, and the arm connects the frame to the wiper motor. In flat beam wiper blades like the Aerotwin, the frame and wiper blade are combined in a single unit.
The wiper arm doesnt lift very far off the windscreen - but it doesnt need to - there is a little black plastic clip that fastens the wiper blade (metal arm) onto the wiper arm. i used a very small slim screwdriver to open the clip by inserting it under the part that fits across the wiper arm, - sounds complicated, but it isnt really once you identify what is what. try not to break the plastic clip, though your new wiper balde will prob come with one. the balde then just sips out. my wife bought hers from ebay, BUT i had to cut a small part out of the wiper blade (one of the sections of the metal arm) - i compared the old and the new and they were different, by removing a small section they were then identical and it fitted very easily - total time 20 mins working it out - 3 mins to fit it!!!
Twist the end of you windscreen wiper stalk away from you..
