Do you mean "change THE transmission" or "Change the Transmission Fluid"? Big difference there....
picture diagrams of engine for 1997 buick skylark
You have to take the transmission pan off, change the filter/fluid/gasget make sure you put all the bolts in first befor you titan the bolts up.
If you mean the engine, yes. The actual car, no.
where is the blower motor resistor located on 97 buick skylark
can i do this at home
i have a 1997 Buick Skylark V6 3.1 ltr. look underneath the car and you will see a kidney shaped metal pan. it should be noticeable because it will have around 20 bolts(varies). the transmission filter is inside the pan.
Remove belt and tensioner should just be bolted to engine
There should be a fuse for that.
If you have a 3.1 V6, it's just in front of the transmission fluid pan. Use a 15mm box wrench for it.
The 1997 Buick Skylark computer is located behind the passenger side dashboard. You will need to remove the passenger side kick plate in order to access the computer.
It is possible that the fuel line in the 1997 Buick Skylark is bad. Getting a tune-up or changing the fuel filter may resolve this problem.
No!
