The 1998 Pontiac Grand Am has the common hook-end wiper blade arm attachments. See related link below for video. Lift wiper arm away from glass. Look for a button or tab in the area where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook. Press and pull wiper out of hook. Do not let arm crash back down to glass - be careful. Sometimes you need to rotate and/or flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.
Be sure to get the correct replacement wiper blades first. The 1992 Olds 98 takes 22" wipers on both sides front.
