Fuel solenoid: Small plastic clip w/2 wires attached to bottom of carb float bowl. Starter solenoid: Depends on application/equipment manufacturer, but usually is a black plastic, 2 or 3" square, w/2 lugs about 1.5" high, and 2 smaller connections on side for keyswitch.
under the float bowl on the carburetor
float....when you boil an egg it starts out at the bottom and as the insides harden, making it ready for consumption, it will float.
No they do not float they sink right to the bottom so if I was you I wouldn't use them to go swimming with.
it will
because the weight of gravity on the bottom of the candle makes its self float
Check 21 is what eliminates float time
fish
ice
not iron
Mine was doing the same thing; realizing that the fuel was flooding through the carb, I first cleaned the float bowl and needle valve; still did it! Most likely the electrical solenoid on the float bowl is sticking open, but it is about $60-70 part; I bypassed that issue by installing a manual fuel shutoff valve in the line just before the filter, and the problem is cured for about $8. (Briggs & Stratton part)
The problem is most likely in the float bowl. The float could be bad. The likely cause is the needle valve that is control by the float is stuck, or dirt has gotten between the needle and needle seat. This is an easy fix. Carefully remove the float bowl. The float will be held in place by a pin. Remove the pin, and float. Check that there is no fuel in the float, and that it floats in gas, if not replace. The needle valve will come out with the float, as they are connected by a wire link. Make sure needle vale is clean, and able to move freely inside it's housing. Check the bottom of the housing at the needle seat to make sure it is clean of dirt. Reassemble, and you should be ready to go.
