Check the voltage regulator.
The only fusible link is for the alternator. It is at the positive battery cable.
Start the engine and test the voltage at the battery posts with a voltmeter. If you get a reading of 13.5 to 16 volts DC then the alternator is more than likely good. Charge the battery fully and then have it tested at any auto parts store. They will test if for free.
Because your alternator is bad, and the battery does not have enough power left in it to run the car. If you were to charge the battery for awhile, it will run until the battery is DEAD, then the car will die,,, No more juce left to run it that's all . OR the alternator belt is broken.
PT Cruiser batteries can be jumped with jumper cables. When jumper cables are attached to the battery in the PT Cruiser and are attached to the battery and another car battery, the battery will get charged, after a few minutes.
it is caused by the alternator voltage regulator switching on and off to charge the battery, this problem is encountered on many makes of car, you may not of noticed it before prior to exchanging the battery.
On a 2004 PT Cruiser it is just ahead of the air filter. Remove the air filter cover to service the battery.
Yep
There are two belts on a Pt Cruiser one for the alternator and one for the A/C compressor and power steering pump.
The battery light means your battery is low. You should go to a mechanics.
