How do you completely get over someone you love when they die?

This is a hard question and one that got my attention right away, I have also lost someone that I was in love with.. in maybe different ways but all the same.
When I lost my daughters father to a car accident, I thought that I would never get over him and move on, in reality I honestly haven't.
There is nothing wrong with this, you will always have a part of them in your heart and that will never change, this is not a bad thing and in fact it's a good thing.
You will go though all the stages of loss, denial, anger, grief, acceptance and so on.. Eventually you will accept and be okay.
But no one will ever take their place, they where that special one for you and that's okay.
You will move on and have other relationships and every relationship is different, you may fall in love again but that does not mean you have to fall out of love with the one that you lost.
The person that you are going to be with should accept this and respect that you have a part of your heart with the other person.
