The BX300 doesn't have a headphone jack. You will have to buy an adapter that connects the dual RCA outputs (the only analog audio out on these models) to a 1/8" stereo female jack. You should be able to find this at your local music store or electronics supply place.

Connect the green 1/8" stereo cable out of the T6160 to the audio output of the TV. If your TV has a headphone or 1/8" line output, you can use that jack. Otherwise, you will need a RCA adapter. Since you TV won't have a surround output jacks, you will only be able to use the front speakers and subwoofer.
Speakers are analog devices. There is no cable and connector that will connect a digital audio jack to a speaker without a digital to analog conversion and an amplifier. If the audio output is digital, you will need a compatible amplifier that has the same digital input. Then you will need to link the amplifier to the speaker with exterior grade cable.
The direct answer to this would be, no. But I think you might be asking the wrong question. To get surround sound to play your television programs you would need to put your cable/satellite box through the receiver. As a side note: There are two ways to do this. 1. If you receiver supports video pass thru (which would mean that there are VIDEO IN jacks and VIDEO OUT jacks) If not then proceed to the next option. You will hook up everything from the cable/satellite box to the receiver and just one cable, which will be the video signal, to the television. 2. You will hook up only the audio cables to the receiver and a single video cable straight to the television.
No, the speaker has a negative and positive port, they both need to be plugged into for it to work. if they aren't, then the speaker will not create sound
Connect them to the TV
If this is a raw speaker without the radio electronics, it is not possible unless your TV has a speaker output (usually a push-in red and black bare wire connector).
If you TV has output connection, then you can get cables to connect your TV to your projector. For example I have a TV with RCA video and audio outputs, I use 3 RCA cables and then I connect them to my RCA inputs into my projector. My projector has a small speaker, so most of the time I just connect the video cable.

The TV must be with Bluetooth! If the TV is no Bluetooth! You can only connect the TV and Bluetooth speakers with audio cable!
You need to connect the speaker out on your PC to the audio input on your TV. You need an adapter cable, as the computer usually has a minijack connector and the TV usually has two RCA connectors

The Purtone HPD-710 system consists of passive speakers that need an amplifier to drive them. Unfortunately, even the subwoofer needs an amp. An Emerson TV will not have speaker outputs, it will have RCA line-level outputs. You must plug the TV into a surround-sound receiver to amplify the signal. Then connect speaker cables from the receiver to the Purtone speakers. Since the sub has no amp, you will need a receiver with a subwoofer amp function, which are not common.
Speakers generate sound by electricity. have you ever heard that static on your tv headphones? that's the transmitter trying to connect to the tv. The elecricity travels to the speakers and 'tells' them what to do. it then emits your average sound.
