Simply attach it to the top of your GBA if another GBA close by has one as well you can use them to trade Pokemon in firered version, leafgreen version and emerald version. That unfortunately was its only use.

∙ 14y agoYou can use it to catch lugia, dioxyes, and do other stuff. All you have to do is go to a poke mart, and go up to the piece of paper on the front desk: a survey. There type in the word "Link Together With All". Then, you'll get the mystery gift. Save, turn off your game boy, and then select mystery gift. And voila, you can get gifts: the naval pass and the aurora pass and much more. Although, when I tried to use my wireless adapter it didn't work. So I surfed the internet to see if anybody else had the same problems. Unfortunatly, many people did. Anyways, don't get your hopes down: it may work.

∙ 12y agowell its best to get a link cord so that u can link with frends and not just people with wireless adapters. wireless adapters (WA) will link with others who are using thiers, so that's why its best to get a link cord instead of a WA.

∙ 12y agoLook on the top of the GBA there is a hole for the wireless adapter hook it up there and to test if it works go inside a Pokemon center and head up the escalator and talk to the middle lady she will say would you like to go in the union room say yes and if you enter the union room that means the wireless adapter is working. For GBA SP's turn the SP around and plug the wireless adapter into the smaller hole try turning the adapter around if it doesn't fit.

∙ 11y agoThe wireless adapter is an accessory that goes onto your Gameboy Advance system that allows for wireless trading between other Gameboy Advance Pokemon games with the adapter connected as well. Basically instead of cables you have wireless trading. However the adapter is limited to Firered, Leafgreen, and Emerald version as the accessory was not created in time for Ruby, and Sapphire version. The adapter also functions to allow players to interact in the Union Room on the second floor of every Pokemon Center and also play Berry Crush with friends in the Direct Corner. Also there is a Game Corner on Two Island strictly for wireless adapter usage you can play the games Pokemon Jump and Dodrio Pick up with friends here. Lastly although least importantly you can use the adapter in hot spots at Nintendo Events to access news and obtain special pokemon however these events don't occur anymore for any of the Gameboy Advance Pokemon titles.
