Explain to them that it will help you increase your responsibity and also help increase your communications skills.
ive dealt with this alot recently with my parents. they always tell me that i cant have things cuz its their house their rules and they are the ones who will be in charge. in some cases i would just do it anyways but then again its not always worth it to go against them in such a manor. if you really want to convince them, do a little research into the phone you want, print out pages on it and all the other information you think they will want to see about it so they realize you are responsible and you are serious about this. and if you are the one paying for it state that it is YOUR money not theirs and you will be the one paying for it not them and it isn't really their matter if you are the one paying for it considering it wont be hurting them if its not their money so you don't really see the big deal in not letting you have a phone. if that doesnt work go out and get yourself a virgin mobile prepayed phone. the phones are cheap and the the plans run from $20 a month for unlimited exsting to $60 a monthy for unlimited EVERYTHING. and it doesnt requite a credit card or debit card or soemthing over the age of 18 :]
One way to convince your parents that you are trustworthy and responsible is to show them. Ask to take on more chores at home, and do those chores well. Do not engage in any kind of behavior that will paint you as untrustworthy in your parents' eyes. Trust is one of the hardest things to build, and it can be shattered in an instant.
youre screwed dude!
just be open to them there your parents they should understand
Security. When I was 12 I got a cell phone for the sheer fact that I wasn't with my parents 24/7 and in the event of emergency we could get in touch with eachother. Its also good for keeping parents updated on their whereabouts. Its a lot easier to call/txt your parents and let them know where youre going than to try to let the school or someone else allow a phone call.
Yes.
Nooo you aree toooooo young trust me,you may think youre ready but yu will regret it the day after youre married, unless youre ready to face the responsibilities such as paying bills, doing taxes,having/raising a child then okayy..but like my opinion personally being one year younger then you is wait till youre at least 18.
If youre young enough to get grounded you aren't old enough to go to parties.
Your phone is ringing!
Sure. If you're parents approve it. My friend is 9, and she has a facebook. You have to lie about your age. If you're parents say no, ask "How do you convince your mom to let you get a facebook account?" It works. well i have one i couldnt have one when i was 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 ...... and 12 is a really good age for one really
if youre emancipated from your parents they have no legal grounds to detain you.
