How do you correct a problem with the headlight not staying on even at night when the auto lamp is set on a 1995 quest?

If it's just one light it may be s short or bad connection. Disconect and clean the connections (with electrical terminal cleaner) behind the headlight. When you reconnect the plugs, make sure they are tight.
