How do you train crafting on RuneScape?

start by completing rune mysteries, then go to the air altar with an air talisman or an air tiara with rune essence to craft air runes After rune mysteries, you can about craft any rune by gaining up your rune crafting level. But you craft specific runes, you need rune essence and you need that rune tiara/talisman and go to that rune altar and enter to craft your runes from the essence.

First you have to do the quest 'rune mysteries' which you can find in your quest journal, (but before that empty your bag of everything and wield a picaxe then you have to go to the wizard (you'll know what I mean once you've done the quest) and get him to teleport you to the run essence, use your picaxe and get all the essence you can, then go to the Grand Exchange and type in talisman, and buy which ever one takes you to the right rune. (IE water talisman for water runes) but you need to check your rune crafting level is high enough to make it, then follow the talisman and you'll know what to do from there.

that all depends on what your crafting lvl is and what u want to make if your crafting lvl is 1 to 20 you could make things out of clay and soft leather but 20+ crafting and you can make things from hard leather and even dragonhide if your a member

At level 27 runecrafting (if you completed the lost city quest) enter zanaris and walk south of the wheat patch with pure essence in your inventory then walk west then south some more and you are then at the altar. right click on the altar and then enter. (you need a talisman or tiara for this) use your pure essence on the altar and you have made cosmic runes. Hope that helps!

first have a talisman or tiara of the rune you intend to craft...

then fill your inventory with rune essence...

use the talisman/tiara to locate the ruins...

then click the ruins, it will teleport you to the temple...

then click the altar and it will convert your essence into runes

There are many ways to train this skill, such as, spinning flax on the spinning wheel in lumbridge or camelot, using a chisel on gems which is cutting gems, use a needle and thread on leathers, and there are many other ways. TO start, Sheer Sheep and use there wool on spinners wheel to make ball of wool.
