Bring her/him to the vet. Maybe it's the quality of the food or maybe she/he ate scraps from the floor or too much treats or food. A good type of dog food i suggest is Origin. Is #1 dog food in the world. Its all natural containing no wheat which is bad for them. It has 70% protein and the meat is in the kibble was caught fresh not frozen with tons of artificial things. All the dog food in groceries stores or petsmart or petco have wheat in them and as little as 21% of protein at the most or less. You can only get origin in dog boutiques. It will be life changing for your dog.

gastorenteritis is a very dangerous condition and can actually cause death in deep chested dogs, i.e. dashchunds, greyhounds are just two off the top of my head. It cause`s what is called bloat! Try not to feed your dog large meals and not from the table. Also don`t "free feed", let them eat what they want for 10 to 15 minutes then put their food bowl up. You can give them, pepto bismol, I had one little doxie and she was always getting sour stomachs, I always called her pepto, when I said that word, and she saw that pink bottle she ran, lol. Also check with your vet, you can also give them tagemet.

Just like humans that have to much gas, dogs are no different and it's the diet they are on. Talk to your vet and change the dog's diet. Don't feed them people food with the exception of a little piece of meat AFTER you have finished dinner and the dog is NOT begging.

feed your dog a good quality dog food like IAMS or EUKANUBA, Royal Canine. They costs more than your run of the mill cheaply made dogfood, have less filler, and the dog needs less. Also quality dog bisquits , I prefer Iams, help. NO tablescraps. Iams is available at Walmart, the others at Petsmart and Petco.

A dog can get a spot of gas just like any human. It's natural and you'll never cut it out completely. If your dog's flatulence is becoming regular or problematic it's time to find the cause, which could involve a trip to the vet.

Some common causes of dog gas include a change of diet or eating something which gives your dog wind. If tht's the case cut out the offending food and switch back to regular diet.

Does your dog eat too quickly and swallow air with his food. Air swallowing will cause flatulence or gas. To prevent this you might try feediing smaller portions more frequently.

Reagular exercise should help. And you have a reasonable chance that any gas build up can be taken care of naturally out of the house.

Another tip is to give your dog a lick of natural yogurt from a spoon after eating.

If your dog's gas still persists then I'd recommend consulting your vet as there may be a deeper underlying cause.
