My answer would be to just let them do what they want to do. Wait for a few days and tell them to leave you alone and if they don't that's when you go to the boss but first give them a chance to leave you alone. Even after the boss tells them to stop and they don't that's when you get a restraining order on them If you don't want to go that far them get a new job.

Depends on what kind of conflict in the workplace. It also depends on your type of job environment (office, construction, sales, food industry, etc). Either way if you are concerned about keeping your job, let the issue roll off and act like it does not even bother you and continue to do your work with great attitude. I had the same problem about 3 years ago and thought i was going to lose my job or quit because i could not handle this ugly girl massaging me at my desk, calling me honey in front of co workers, flirting, etc. The problem was she was my manager and i had just started and i did not want to create any waves and wanted to move up. Well I just put extra pics up of my GF and started talking about her more and politely asked her not to put her hands on me. Well its been 3 years and she is gone and i am now a supervisor. Just handle it all in a PROFESSIONAL manner.

Only exception i can think of is if you are in a serious sexual harassment problem and that you should not just sit back and take that. You can deem what is inappropriate to you and what you can tolerate.

The Gentlemanly thing to do in the event of a situation arising at work would be to consult a moment with yourself before both party's are removed from the building settling you're differences promptly being the first to engage this act make it easier on everyone involved.
