4. Run >> Type Local Settings >> History >> Delete all folder in it like Today, Yesterday...

1. Open your internet browser and go to Tools>>Internet Options and clear history (automatic)
2. View History and manually delete all the websites you want to clear . What if history was deleted? Can it found anywhere else?

∙ 12y agoIf you delete your history the visited websites are still stored in index.dat files. To delete them just download Privacy Mantra and that should remove the index.dat files and it also remove other privacy threats.

I dont know what version of computer you have, but on mine you can go to your favorites (top left hand corner marked by star) and then a tab will say "history". From there you can choose what day and then delete the sites that you dont want shown.
