- You need to take time out to figure out why you feel guilty. If you hurt someone verbally; physically hit someone; cheated, etc., then you need to be responsible for your own actions and apologize to that person. The person involved may not forgive you, but still, you need to free yourself by a meaningful apology.

∙ 13y agoThis will depends on what kind of mistakes or lying you did. But let me make is simple, if we are feeling guilty, our heart will beat a little faster. We will not be comfortable being with that person because of what we did. We will try to ignored that person because by looking at his or her face your guilt will come out no matter how you hide it.
