distance divided by time equals velocity... D/T=V Distance divided by time equals velocity.. D/T= V as in: Furlongs per fortnight

V = d / t

The average velocity of an object is given by the distance traveled divided by the time it took.

velocity= time / displacement

velocity also includes directions

ex: 10 m/s due north(this would be the displacement.)

Velocity is how fast an object is going WITH DIRECTION.

The S unit for velocity is m/s with direction.

Ex. v= 120 miles south / 3 hrs.

v= 40 mi/hr SOUTH.

Velocity has to have direction. No direction,, No velocity.

TIME DOES NOT HAVE A DIRECTION

time is time... it does not go north to south,, nor east to west.

time is just time.

How do you find the velocity form the speed of a car?

Velocity means speed and direction. So if you know the speed, all you need to add is the direction of motion and you will have the velocity.

What is the objects acceleration from 0 to 1 second?

Acceleration is the change in velocity over a time period. Since you need to know the change in velocity to calculate acceleration, the question being asked is not answerable.

Do Two objects of different masses freely fall with same momentum?

No.....because we need both mass and velocity to find the momentum if velocity is same that is 9.8m/s that is of free falling bodies.........mass will effect the final result.
