under the driver side dash, you should be able to remove the panel with a 7mm socket look for the cobra "brain" small black box with wiring coming out of it. if you unplug it you will need to reconnect the starter wire if there is a starter kill installed. unplug the brain then try starting the car if it starts you are done if not then there will be a yellow or purple wire in the main harness of the car, wires that come from key cylinder it will have been cut and run to a relay it needs to be reconnected to itself and then your alarm is perm. disabled

Defective alternator, dead cell in battery, or something is on pulling power from the battery.

Make sure your Charge Alternator is working and charging your battery properly or else you will always have dead battery. Also avoid corrosion to build up in your battery poles. Make sure your battery poles are not loose and most of all always check water level of your battery.

Battery light usually means alternator not charging. Most common solutions would be be a bad alternator, bad connection, or loose alternator belt. If the battery and alt test ok than check the connections to the alternator and battery. You may also have a battery drain (something that is staying on and killing the battery)

Sounds like the alternator has failed. Can also be a couple of dead cells in the battery, or loose or corroded battery cables.

Could be anything electrical drawing current. Alternator could be bad, glove box, trunk, hood light not going out. The battery or cables being very dirty can give the battery enough connection to ground and drain the battery. Battery itself could be bad and not holding a charge.

User Avatar

Could be the life of the battery has expired or the charging system is faulty or the vehicle has a draw on the system killing the battery when not running. Drive the vehicle to your local auto parts store. They will test the battery and the charging system at no cost. Battery is bad or something is draining it. Most places that sell batteries can check it. With it charged, disconnect it and see if it holds a charge. If it does, something in the car is draining it. Dead cell in the battery or something is on drawing power from the battery.

If it is near your home, you can run a mechanics light from your house or garage and hang it in the engine compartment near the battery. Rest the hood closed, don't slam it. The heat from the bulb will help your battery resist the cold. === === Also, a fully charged battery better resists the effects of cold temperatures.

i would start by testing the battery , i have seen cases where the battery was good enough to start the vehicle but was causing the alternator to do all the work resulting in premature failure. my f150 went through a brand new ford alternator in 2 months .

if the battery is not bolted down tight your positive post is grounding on the hood killing the vehicle.

Once you're close friends with a fire bender, earth bender, water bender, or air bender, and you can't bend, you'll figure out a way to do non bending things, like locating people's pressure points and hitting them to disable their nerves. Hope this helps.

It depends on where you live, what "mess them up" means, etc. However, I took a self-defense class in California and there are plenty of moves that will save you without permanently maiming or killing the intruder. Common moves include kicking and breaking their kneecap(s), elbowing them in the throat, and kneeing them in the groin. So, yeah, you can mess them up, im just not sure about killing or permanently injuring them. Try looking up specifics for where you live.

Check battery connecters to see if they are tiightly connected. I had that some problem and it was the old battery connecters that where loose. I brought some new connecters and had the mechanic put them on. never had a battery problem even sense.
