in the pcm. don't make em with govenors anymoreAnswerThere is a speed limiter if this is what you mean. It is set right about 120mph. In mine it hits about 121-122ish. . depending on what Mazda 6 you have. you may not have a speed sensor. a V6 Mazda 6 with ABS doesnt have a speed sensor........the speed is calculated thru the abs sensors and is intertwined with the TCS system.the 6 ecu is multi plex and the only way to disable the speed limiter is with tuning(reprogramming the ecu)
99 mazda b3000 where is the speed sensor located
can you tell me where the my 03 plate Mazda 323 2 litre diesels speed sensor is located as its not working .ta
The speed sensor is located on the rear axle housing.
in the transmission.
Yes, it has a speed sensor, about $125 online.
You cannot disable a vehicle speed sensor on any EFI vehicle without causing a host of problems. I'm not sure why anybody would want to.
98-99 Mazda 626 do not have speed sensor. Speed data is obtained from ABS. Therefore if you are having speedometer issue then the problem is more complex as you have expected. Good luck!
On top of the differential.
I believe it is called the speed sensor.
VSS ( Vehical Speed Sensor ) located on your transmission
on the tranny
The Mazda Millennia Speed sensor tells the speedometer how fast the vehicle is traveling. Speed sensors are located on top of the transmission housing where they can reach the input shaft. The speed at which the input shaft spins tells the vehicle how fast it is moving.
Speed sensor....on transmission need changing....
Wikianswers cannot provide pictures or diagrams.
the speed sensor is located under the vehicle right next to the left wheel. It's almost like a built in radar.
It's under the air filter housing.
you need to change the input turbine speed sensor
The Rear ABS speed sensor is installed into the top area of the rear differential.
The speed sensor is located on the differential (rear end) I have a 99 Ford Ranger and have recently replaced one. EASY! Good luck!
on the cover of the timing belt
On the transmission output shaft housing on the side closest to the firewall.
Trouble code P0715 means:Input/turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction
This error is from the "transmission module", it usually points to a bad speed sensor. The Mazda 3 has a speed sensor in the rear of the transmission, it is located under the battery box, near the ground in the lower part of the tranny near the firewall (attached with one bolt and a plugin/harness, super easy). The other one is a "pulse sensor" and is located on the top of the tranny. I am wrestling with this exact error message myself on my 2004 Mazda 3. So bear in mind that what I am telling you pertains to a 2004 Mazda 3, 2.3 liter engine. Good Luck!
