94 Grand Cherokee alarm disable:
1) Remove the driver door panel 2) Remove the lock 3) Remove the switch from the back of the lock 4) Pull the switch cord assembly to the bottom of the door cavity 5) Unplug and remove the switch assembly from the car 6) Either (a) short the female end of the plug, or (b) ground the striped wire to the car door
This worked fine for me - no more malfunctioning alarm!
additional comment: My 95 GC came to me used without a remote clicker for the keyring and the alarm was malfuntioning. I removed the Security Module, a black box under the dash, and that completely disabled just that system. I live in a small town and typically leave the keys in the car anyway so I don't miss having an alarm system.
Another comment: What I did on my 94 Jeep GC Limited. It came with a remote for the locks and security, but I no longer have it. On the roof of the inside of the car where the front map lights are there is a screw, once you undo that screw you can just pull the whole assembly down and there is a harness with connectors up there. Just disconnect the one near the back and the remote locks and security will no longer work.

The only way i found to disarm the alarm was to use the back hatch lock. lock it and unlock it a few times with the key. if this doesnt work try the door locks
Has to be disactivated with a drb 3. Your local Chrysler dealer can deactivate alarm. Although you may have to pay for labor time.
It is behind the glove box
Insert the key in the drivers door and unlock, lock. unlock again. That is how a factory alarm system is bypassed in case your battery dies in your remote.
Most require a remote.
in the fuse panel next to the passenger door pull out fuse 6 and 7 By pulling fuse 6 the vehicle will not start.
how to disable alarm on 1998 jeep grand cherokee
i need to disable jeep factory alarm 1997 cherokee
if you don't have a key fob then when you lock your doors it will set the alarm try unlocking it from the passenger side if that doesn't work their is a clip that powers the alarm on the inside of the door panel attached wires to the back of the lock take a piece of metal to short off the alarm then just don't lock the doors any more. could also work from hatch maybe.
The whole point of an alarm system is to make it secure. I doubt that there will be an easy method of disarming your alarm system. You will probably need to take it to a dealer.
If the alarm is factory... Take the key and put it in the drivers door.. turn the key to lock position then to the unlock position. The alarm with reset
You disarm the alarm by unlocking the doors with the key or the remote.
== == We found it located in behind the right side of dash board, in behind the glove box. For our 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
you turn the key to unlock the doors on the driver side.
The liftgate, and both front doors should have switches on the key cylinders for disarming.
You can disarm the alarm by unlocking the doors with a key.You can disarm the alarm by unlocking the doors with a key.
to arm or disarm the alarm, just stick the key in the trunk/hatch and turn.
Any reason why you want to do that? Easiest way to not arm the alarm system is to use your actual key instead of the FOB. This will not arm the alarm. I dont know how to actually remove the alarm system considering it is intergrated into your wiring harness and your car wont start if its activated.
The factory alarm can not be disabled, only repaired if malfunctioning.
