Lift the Acura. Drain the power steering fluid. Disconnect the steering joints from the power steering rack. Unbolt the race and remove. Install the new rack and connect the steering back up.
Locate the old motor. Remove the mounting bolts and disconnect the wires. Installation is reverse of removal.

The process of changing out the steering column is not very complicated, but is time consuming. You will need to disconnect the column as well as the steering shaft and wiring to make the change.
If you have a 2.0L Zetec-E (Zetec): Removal Remove the accessory drive belt. Disconnect the power steering line from the power steering pump. Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container. Remove the power steering pump lower retaining bolts. Disconnect the power steering pressure (PSP) switch electrical connector. Depress the locking tang. Disconnect the power steering hose from the power steering pump. Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container. Remove the power steering pump upper retaining bolts. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the power steering pump. Remove the PSP switch. CAUTION: Make sure vice jaw protectors are used. Secure the power steering pump in a vice. Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley. Installation Using the special tool, install the power steering pump pulley. NOTE: If installing a new power steering pump, the unions that are supplied fitted to the pump should be removed and retained for future use. Using the special tool, install a new O-ring seal onto the steering gear to power steering pump union. Push the new O-ring seal onto the special tool. Locate the special tool onto the union and install the O-ring seal. Install the PSP switch. Remove the power steering pump from the vice. Install the power steering pump. Install the lower retaining bolts. Connect the power steering line. Lower the vehicle. Install the power steering pump upper retaining bolts. Connect the power steering hose to the power steering pump. Connect the PSP switch electrical connector. Install the accessory drive belt. Fill the power steering system. If you have a 2.0 SPI engine: Removal Detach the accessory drive belt from the power steering pump pulley. Using a
Disconnect the steering column from the power steering box in the engine compartment (there is a seal and it will not pull out easy). Remove the cover from underneath the steering column inside the car. Disconnect all wire connectors. There is a bracket underneath the column - remove the four bolts from it. There is s boot seal where the column goes through the firewall - it may also contains a bolt that wiil need to be removed. If it has a column shifter, you will need to disconnect this as well. Make sure when you slide the new steering column into the power steering box that the tires are straight and so is the steering wheel. If you forget, the steering wheel will not be straight while driving.
This requires a power steering pulley puller. This puller is designed to remove and install a power steering pulley without damage to the pulley and or pump. Attempting to do this without the puller will result in damaging the pulley or the pump or both.
You need to remove the old one. For that you need to put your car on stands, remove front wheels. Remove the sway bar link. Drain the steering fluid out of the system. Disconnect the steering column from the rack. Disconnect two pipes coming from the power steering pump and going to the power steering fluid reservoir. After that disconnect the tie rods. Remove two bolts attaching the rack to the car body. Take out carefully the rack out of the car through the left side. Installation is opposite to the removal. Make sure that you align marks on the steering column and the rack. Refill and bleed the system.
You could put the installation file on the external HDD to install it on another computer but then to install it, it would have to be on a local HDD.
