Your best bet is to find a gunsmith and ask for help.
Yes. The Savage Arms Company made over/under rifle/shotgun combination guns, notably the model 24 series. These were in 12, 20, and .410 shotgun, and rifles were 22 LR, 22 magnum, 22 Hornet, .223, 30-30, etc. Mdl 24S is a 20 guage shotgun under a .22LR rifle.

22 hornet is a 22 calibre rifle. Most think of a 22 rifle as a rim fire rifle. But it shoots a 22 calibre bullet but the cartridge case that fires the bullet is no where near the same. The Hornet holds much more powder and is center fire.
It is a shotgun
No. The M14 rifle fires the 7.62 NATO rifle cartridge. It is not a shotgun.
The 22 Long Rifle has different size cartridges, But the 22 Hornet has pictures of deer killed with it. The 22 Hornet is a lot more powerful than the 22 Long Rifle. They both have different grain.
shotgun for close range and rifle for long range.
Rifles and shotguns are separate types of firearm. The Kentucky Long-Rifle was as its name implies a rifle, not a shotgun.
11 attack 34 defense....some sniper rifle
I do not personally, but yes, there is a single shot rifle that can have the rifle barrel replaced with a shotgun barrel.
It is a bit of overkill.
