You just change the number to a superscript. Highlight the 2, go to Font and check superscript. Now you have the power of 2. Just be sure to change the type back if you continue typing.
Ctrl + Shift + =. {Let go}. 2. Ctrl + Shift + =. {Let go}. 2.
Go to Format at top of screen
then choose Cells
then to the font tab, third one along
and go to Superscript
The example below is done by typing normal 32 then
highlighting just the 2 number ...
So 3 to the power of 2 is32
If you go to the Insert Menu and Symbol, under the Normal Text format, you will find it there if you slowly scroll down a bit. Another way is to superscript the 2. Type the 2 in and select it. Then press and hold both the Ctrl key and the Shift key. Then press the plus sign on the main keyboard. The text will be superscripted, meaning it will be pushed up like this: 10². Pressing the same combination of keys will return text to normal so you can continue on working. Another way is to hold down the Alt key. Then on the numeric keypad, not the numbers across the top of your keyboard, type 253 and then let go of Alt.
In WordPad, you can highlight the exponent and format it as a SuperScript. In Excel, you use the ^ symbol to represent an exponent (Example: 4^2 means four to the second power, or four squared.)
Exponent symbol is the carat (^). Four squared is 4^2.
Just search in Google 2 the second power symbol then copy then paste it then your done B-)
Step 1 press num lock
Step 2 hold alt
Step 3 press keypad number 0178 fast then it will be like this
ex:
1242m²
^4
r-1
2
Here just copy and paste :) ²
Use the ^ (Shift 6) character usually called the Carrat Symbol.
just like you would with the 2 and 3. it is just in superscript. you can have any power, it is just always a superscript.
