How do you do a Fatality in Mortal Kombat?

MK: ArmageddonYou actually create your own fatalities.

From the instruction book:

If you've defeated an opponent in Kombat Match, the "Finish Him/Her" prompt appears. As the red bar drains, you have a lmited amount of time to enter a button sequence and create one string of a fatality. The red bar indicates time left to perform the enxt fatality sequence. If you do it right, the timer will reset, allowing you to do another. You can do up to 10 strings of a fatality.

This feature has received mixed reactions from game fans. Some view it as repetitive and boring as all animations are the same for each move, while others love the creation aspect. I'll let you form your own opinion.

well how you do a fatality and i know because i used to have the actual game on ps2 how you do one is if your opponents health is down and it says finish him if it is a man or finish her if it is a lady how you do one is like if you tear apart the body like rip the arms it would say fatality savage fatality and the other fatalities. you can string separate combos togather like left left triangle then do up up triangle and up up x then left left x.

Well, if your talking about Mortal Kombat 9 you must go on too your moves list on the pause menu, go on too special moves and scroll down too the bottom. That character should have at least one fatality visible and you just follow what the fatality says too do. You cant unlock any other fatalitys except from looking them up, or unlocking them in the crypt.

it all depends on location some fatalities you have to do close, mid range, or far. Also you have to do a certain button combination to preform it. here are some fatalities Scorpion down ,down, down ,B or circle if u have Ps3 versoin - Mid Range toward, toward , away ,down, A or X-PS3(while doing this fatality do it slowly but not to slow)- Mid Range Sub-Zero away ,away, down, away, B - Close away, toward , down ,toward, Y or triangle - close Raiden away , toward , toward , down ,B -Close Liu Kang toward, away , down , down , A or X(PS3) - Mid Range down, down , toward, down, B - Close Batman Down, away , toward , toward, B - Mid Range The Flash away , away , toward , toward, B - Close or Mid Range Superman down, down, toward , toward, X or square for Ps3 - close Lex Luthor down , toward , down , away, Y or triangle (PS3) close up, up ,up, X or square (this fatality you have to press up 3 times fast then X or Square. And if you are doing other fatalities with UP... USE THE ANALOG STICK.) - close or mid range The Joker Toward, away , toward , X or SQUARE - close thats all the fatalities I know so just remember it all depends on location if your in the wrong spot or you entered the imput wrong it wont work. And some of these might not work on the first try so dont give up. =]

Armageddon has a new feature called Create-a-Fatality. all the Kombatants use the same Fatalities. use this website for each one.

There's an area in the game known as Kreate a Fatality. When in Konquest mode, this is different. When fighting enemies and you hear "Finish him!" approach the character and press any button you choose; each button does a different fatality

Check the character your controlling's move list and check. You can also practice it. But in one of the games, your fatality will fail until you defeat the last level in story mode.
