Rear: Remove wheel, remove two bolts holding caliper together then remove caliper.

Replace pads on caliper just like the old one's come off, make sure you use the grease provided with the new pads between the backing plate and caliper piston face.

Rotor is only held on by the lug nuts that hold the wheel on but the emergency brake pads may have to be loosened (backed off) to pull it off the axel wheel mount. Front: Pads same as Rear above. Rotor is intergral to the wheel mount and has to be removed just like any front wheel to replace the bearings.

How do you remove the rear brake rotors on a 1996 Ford Explorer?

Take off the tires and calipers and it could be a real pain to get the rotors off because the emergency brake shoes are underneath. Depending on how rusted it could be near impossible but the best way is to take a sledge hammer and pound on the back side of the rotor, alternating sides until it loosens up.

When the brakes are applied the front end shakes on my with new pads rotors and calipers 1993 ford explorer can you help you?

It sounds like when the wheels were put back on, the lug nuts were over tightened or tightened out of sequence causeing the rotors to warp. if they did not turn the rotor or they were cut wrong it could cause that. some places say they changed it but might of turned them.
