There is no 'how' about it. It just happens. You know you're in love when you think about this person constantly and you want to be with them. This is the sort of love that isn't focused on sex or what you do physically in the relationship. You feel a sort of wanting to protect her and be there for her like a friend. Yet, with that "friend" aspect of it, there's also still the boyfriend - girlfriend aspect. You'll kiss, and hold hands, and do some sexually related things. But, even if you're in love with someone, you don't have to be dating. I'm in love with this amazing guy, but we're not dating because we have an age difference. Also, there is no "age restriction" on love; You don't have to be a certain age to fall in love. But, with age does come maturity, and it does take quite a bit of maturity to know you're in love. The best advice I can give you, is that...this girl you're talking about? Your'e not in love. Because if you were you'd already know and not try. You don't TRY to fall in love. It just happens. Hope this helps. :)
