i just beat her with my lv. 24 quilava, lv. 24 pidgeotto, lv. 25 crocanaw and lv. 24 ivasaur so u might wana use the cheat code action replay available at GameStop and other game stores. or u could level up your Pokemon the same level that the last gym leader's strongest Pokemon level was. hope u beat her. oh wait, u need to talk to her after u beet her.

∙ 10y agoAh....you are at the terror we all know as Whitney. She uses Normal types, so the best thing to do is to pick up a Geodude on route 46, which is the gate on the first route of the game. Either there, or at Union Cave, where you can also get Onix Preferably, pick up a female one. Raise it to around level 20. A female Rock type will prevent attract, and make sure all of her damaging moves aren't very effective. Hope it helps!
