How do you figure out carbohydrates in food is it different then sugar number?

I make my own pasta salad with had boiled egg whites, fried bacon bits, broccoli, cauliflower, broccoflower, black olives, grape tomatoes, pepperoni, diced onions, cucumbers & tri colored pasta

with Italian dressing. I avoid the pasta when eating a cup of this salad. How do I figure the carbs?
