Unless the vehicle is fairly old and the speakers just blew, the only real reason for both back speakers goin out at the same time is the radio itself is messed up. Use your fader and fade all the sound to the back, if you hear nothing at all, replace the radio. If you hear some cracking and just general bad noise, replace the speakers.
put new speakers in
The speakers in a 2005 GMC Yukon are 6 3/4" speakers. If you wish to replace them, 6 1/2" speakers will also work, provided you get an adapter kit.
A 2003 GMC Yukon has 8 or 9 speakers I believe. It varies though depending on if you have the high end bose system or not.
The speakers are 6.5 inches in the XL so I can imagine they're the same
There is no filter on a 2003 yukon, GM stopped inside filters in 2002

When the front blower for heat and a/c work fine and the rear does not on the 2001 GMC Yukon it could be a blown fuse. Automobile manufacturers rarely have both of these blowers running off the same fuse.
6 1/2" in front and rear doors, 4x10" in the very rear.
That normally happens if one of your flasher bulbs is not working
Check the fuse marked "IPC".
there is a recall for this
