The Code is on the Radio, or in the Spare tirewell! if it is not on the radio, remove the radio, call dealer and give them the radio serial number and your VIN number. Some Dealers like to charge for this, most do not.
You have 1992 VW Jetta with Heidelberg radio how do you enter radio code
I have absolutely no idea.
Trouble code P1582 means: Idle Adaptation at Limit
Trouble code P1780 means: Engine Intervention Readable
Speed regulation: adaptation limit reached
Mine (code) was under the spare tire in the trunk, but also a 97, I believe. Worth looking though!
A Volkswagen Passat radio code can be found at any authorized VW dealership or service manual. If the code is incorrect the radio will not turn on.
If you've lost the code you need to pull the radio and take it to a dealer to be reset.
Your local dealer has to pull the radio and hook it to a computer to find the code. It cannot be done with the radio in the vehicle.
hold mode and scan down for 3 seconds. Then 1000 comes on the screen and the code can be entered using the 1-4 buttons. keep pushing the 1 button till the first number matches the first number of the code and repeat for 2,3 and 4. when the code is correct on the screen then hold the mode and scan button for 3 seconds.
To unlock the radio, there are many different codes. I just put a 2008 radio in my 2006 VW Jetta. Had to call the dealer to get the code. They need your VIN from the current car and the Serial number off the radio. My code was 0185, try that.
Using the radio preset buttons.
You have to take it to the dealer and they should be able to help you, in most cases the stereo has to be removed to get a code off of it. other than that pick up a new one from wal-mart, probley cheaper and easier
here ya go,You have to press TA & TP together, then the 1000 appears and you enter the code using the 1-4 buttons then press TA & TP again to confirm (it's a BETA 4 radio). If it is the current Beta proceed as follows: 1. Switch on: Display reads "SAFE" 2. Enter code using button "1" to enter the first digit of code, button "2" to enter the second digit etc. 3. When all 4 digits of the code are correctly display, press either the manual setting rocker (>) or the search (>>) button for more than 2 seconds. Then release. 4. The radio should then play. If it does not, press either the "FM" or "CC" button. Hope this helps.AnswerI have a 1997 VW Jetta, I had work done on it and the radio went in to SAFE mode. I accidently entered the wrong code 2 or 3 times and now I can't get it back to BETA mode to enter the code I have. What can I do?AnswerOnce you have your 4 digit code and the radio is set to 1000. You put the code in one at a time until you have entered all of them starting from the first digit 1. My 1998 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition's code is 0986. After I entered the code, I pressed the seek button for at least 2 seconds and the radio immediately began to play. Answer:If your jetta has SEEK/SCAN and buttons, press SEEK with the lower >, 1000 appears, enter your code, press SEEK and > again for about 2 seconds..radio will start playing.I
You will need to contact a dealer if you don't have the code from the owners manuel. They are not supposed to charge you for the code!
Each stock radio has it's own unique code. Take your VIN# to the dealer and they can get it for you. I've had it done twice for free.
How do I unlock my 1998 I 30 radio reset
No I can't answer this, but I have the same question. The battery has been diconnected and the reset code is doing nothing. The 2003 TDI Jetta does not have an option to use the radio speakers for a phone... so what's up?
I have a 1998 3.2TL. The code for the radio is on the bottom of the ashtray.
Contact dealer with proof of ownership of vehicle who will then arrange for the code to be given to you. Expect to pay them.
i don know p1508 plaese tell me what is that
