Go to your state's Department of Corrections web site and search for "Inmate Information" or "Offender Information." You may also search for Inmate of Offender searches. These can sometimes be difficult to locate, but keep at it. Some states such as California do not allow online searches for inmates and require you to call the Inmate Information Office of the state DOC. ∙ 12y agoIn this state or federal prison, go to their website for this information. Many county jails have their own websites in which you can locate that information as well. But most do not. Depending on the County jail location, you may have to call the facility to find out.
