How do you find the length of a hypotenuse?

To find the length of a hypotenuse (the side of a triangle opposite to the right angle) you need the two shorter sides lengths which i will call A and B.

X2=A2+B2

X2=A+B

X2=(A+B)

X=Find the square root of (A+B)

X=The square root of (A+B)
