I think the model of Fender Guitars are defined by its shape and contour. There should be some markings in key spots; like the inside of the body, where the heel of the neck bolts in or in the cavity under the controls plate. But, these provide information about manufacturing date and assembly.
Try giving Fender a call or find some respectable luthier.

Eric
The most popular names for Fender Neck guitars are the "Stratocaster" and the "Strat" both being trademark terms belonging to Fender. It would seem that every band you see has one of these guitars.
It is a custom-made guitar for Tom. It is composed from different parts from different brands and at this point does not even resemble any of the original parts it was made from. If you do an Internet search for "Tom Morello equipment," you will find more detailed information. Some basic information includes the fact that the original guitar was a Stratocaster body with a Performance Corsair neck.
If you find a heavy gauge string is bending the neck, then you are probably either tightening it too much or the string was not designed for the guitar. It is generally best to buy strings designed for a stratocaster and Fender make strings designed for certain guitars.
Mick Mars mainly uses a vintage white Fender Stratocaster with J.M Rolph pickups, maple neck and fretboard w/ 70's big headstock
Short answer, yes. Long answer, that would depend on the width of the neck, the action height you are attempting to achieve and whether or not the neck is from a stratocaster or telecaster. It would also depend on if you plan to use the original head. It also does not need to be a Fender patented neck if you are willing to put in design time. This long answer may require some woodworking and/or engineering skills, but it is not impossible.
One can purchase a replacement Fender Stratocaster neck directly from the manufacturer through the Authorized Fender Service Center. One can also purchase a replacement Stratocaster neck from online sites such as Craigslist, eBay and Amazon.
No! You will need to have the model designed specifically for Rock Band 3. Other guitars without the touch detection in the neck or a way to interface with the xbox 360 will not work.
One can purchase stratocaster online on Ebay or Craigslist for the cheapest price. Other places include Picker parts, Mighty mart, Stratosphere, and many others, but they may have a higher price.
Stratocaster Electric Guitars have very good ratings. They are praised for their fast-action maple neck, comfort-contoured alder body, three single coil pickups and maple or rosewood fingerboard.
You can put it on like you would any other neck but you'll notice that there will be a gap because of the difference in the heal/neck pocket. You might have issues with intonation but this is a popular modificaiton that typically works.
Fender stratocaster but it was later customized with two humbuckers installed in the neck and middle position.
Used ones are usually around $4,895. I don't really think the color matters.
