the problem is clearly that your driving an eclipse.. you shoud look into trading it in on a Honda

Most likely it will not, 99 and 00 are different models. They have different engines and as result different gear to mount headers.
It would be hard to get into gear and would make grinding noises when shifting.
Either your clutch is stuck or your synchro mesh and or bushings have gone out. you need to have your tranny serviced

If the vehicle is stuck in a gear then the shift censor is out. The other reason could be that the linkage on the transmission is broken.
it takes 75-90 synthetic gear oil and it holds up to 4 1/2 quarts. Make sure it is synthetic
Automatic or manual trans? What am I missing here? Explain! If it is stuck in 3rd gear then it is obvious that it can't go in reverse.
if you look on the block by the fly wheel you will see a white line on the fly wheel and you line it up to the T mark on the block by the way it needs to be lifted up to find it. or if you still cant find it you could always take a spark plug out and put a screw drive in it and use it to find out when the piston is toped out also the cam gears have circles on the gear that should face up. 1992 mitsubisi eclipse GS soon to be GST 2000 Ford ranger S/C Eaton m-90
