Clean it first, then make sure the extractor's in good shape.
have a 9mm and my bullets keep getting stuck in chamber why..does it need cleaning or is there a problem with the gun
This is known as the clip or magazine.
Could be ammunition, magazine, dirty, etc..
The tube that slide in to keep the bullets in
keep banging it against a wall until it works again. :} that's how i fixed mine.
The problem is that the chain gets to heavy amd gets too low to go in to the chamber. Two, the bullets and chain on auto go so fast repeatedly it get a bullet half way through then goes to the next section of the chain. To fix these problems alwyas use the box and make sure to fire bullets in medium bursts, not all on. Finallly, make sure the bullets are all the way in but not crammed in. When you cram them they get bent and are worse
Remove the barrel. Take a small round steel file and round off the lower portion of the chamber. The problem is the rounds "nose dive" into the sharp edge of the chamber, by rounding it off you give the bullet a "ramp" to follow. The problem with the Henry AR-7 jamming issues can be easily fixed. Here is what I have discovered and modified on my AR-7. The problem has nothing to do with the rifle itself but rather everything to do with the magazine.. Here's the fix. With 600 grit sandpaper polish the feed ramp on the magazine down to bare metal, then with a Q-tip lightly apply gun grease on the feed ramp, clean and lubricate ramp after every shooting session and you will never have another jam.
between the two scope mount rail screws is a larger screw. on the inside of this screw it holds a small guide plate. this directs the bullet into the chamber. its likelly to have been rammed up and bent by a bullet. just bend it down a bit. not to far. keep in mind the bullets have to eject back past it.
If you are talking about an air rifle. You need a .177 cleaning kit or thin ramrod. Push it back out into the loading chamber from the barrel. Do not keep firing it.
likelyit has low battery, or needs to be cleaned and lubricated.
to keep the hammers from hitting each other and jamming.
Make sure the safety is on and visually check to make sure that the firearm is unloaded always keep the chamber open and never look down the barrell
