Most likely and bad blower motor resistor.
You have a bad blower motor resister..........
usually the blower motor resistor pkg. located on or near the blower motor
blower motor won't work
If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. If the fuse is not blown, then it is possibly a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack, blower motor, or blower motor speed control switch, in that order. If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. A malfunctioning blower motor resistor will cause the blower motor not to work. When the resistor is bad the blower motors will not turn on.
If the blower motor randomly and intermittenly quits and does not work, chances are good the blower motor itself is faulty, if the blower motor does not work on all fan speeds from low through high, it most likely needs a blower motor resistor.
Blown fuse, bad blower motor switch, blower motor itself, or a defective blower motor resistor pack.
Check fuse if ok Check to see if getting power to fan motor - if ok motor needs replacing - if not may be switch or relay
The blower motors only work with the engine running. If the blower motor has three wires on the electrical plug, then the blower motor module is built into the unit & it's very expensive. Sometimes, you can tap on the motor with a hammer & it may work or slowly turn. If this is the case, replace the blower motor.
Depends on what you mean by heater will not work. If the blower motor will not work, it can be a blown fuse, bad blower motor, bad blower motor switch, or a defective blower motor resistor pack. If you mean that the blower motor works but there is no heat, then it can be a clogged heater core, thermostat stuck open, or defective heater control valve.
