How do you fix a leaky Moen faucet?
A leaky Moen faucet can be fixed by replacing the defective O-rings. These are found throughout the faucet and allow water to escape.

You dismantle it and replace the seal.

Get a Delta shower parts replacement kit from Hardware or Plumbing store and rebuild the faucet. Must get the right kit for the exact faucet.
Take the lever off completely and see if something is preventing it seating properly. I fix many Moen faucets and have never heard of this propblem.

you have to turn off the supply and its usually a valve under the sink. if no shutoff there then turn off the main valve which is usually at the street at the meter box.

Turn the water off to the faucet. Remove the handle. The top of the faucet should unscrew to get to the ball valve. Replace the valve and gaskets then reassemble the faucet.
