You either have a bulb burnt out or the turn signal flasher is bad.
It means that a light bulb is out on the side where the light solid (not blinking) it could be in the front or rear of the vehicle.
Sounds like you simply have A burned out bulb, Turn the signal on and look at all the lights to see if any are burned out. Could be A marker light if its in the turn signal circuit.
You have a burned out bulb on the right side. Even a the side marker bulb will affect the turn signal
Just replace the bulb. They stop blinking when the bulb goes bad. Usually if a bulb goes bad it will blink rapidly. If it stops blinking entirely or blinks only sometimes your flashing relay may have went out. It's a small box under the steering column usually.
your rear bulb is blown - replace the bulb The turn signal blinks fast because the bulb is going out. That is also why the others dont blink.
Maybe a short somewhere...did you replace the flasher unit? No - it was blinking spuradically(?) - now I have to blink it manually and it won't blink at all with lights on.
AnswerPossible a bad turn signal flasherYou more than likely have a blown bulb. if the flasher was bad the left side indicator on the dash would not blink. do a quick inspection around the car with the left side on and then the right, you will notice which bulb is blown.Hope this helps."85MGM"
If the bulb is the correct one and the other side of van lights all flash, then it is not the flasher. Check front and rear bulbs on the side that stays solid. Could be bad parking light or taillight bulb. Hope this helps.
If you mean that the arrow inside the dash turns on and stays on then your problem is one of the left side turn signal bulbs. Test by turning on your four way (hazard) lights and observing all lights. The one that does not flash is the bulb that needs replacing.
Either the front or rear bulb is burnt out.
check your bulbs, this happens when a light bulb is burnt out good luck
If your light is solid 1 bulb is burned out or if no lights blink it is a flasher located in your fuse box
Check all of your blinker lights. There are two in each tail light, one in each center signal, and one at the corner of each headlight, a total of 8 lights should blink when you have the flashers on. If a bulb is burnt out, it will increase the blink rate. Also, installing LED's in the tail lights will cause the blink rate to increase.
An open ground or a short to ground when the signal is on. Usually a bad bulb.
Check the following...........turn signal bulbs front and rear, and brake lights, probably a burned out bulb or a bad connection due to corrosion in the bulb socket, finally check the turn signal flasher, under the dashboard, if the bulbs turn out to be OK. To control corrosion in bulb sockets use a di-electric grease that seals the socket to bulb connection and repells water.
No. Only the one bulb will stop functioning. All hazards and other bulbs will continue to function. However, if one bulb is burned out it will cause the indicator on that side to blink faster, indicating that there is a problem.
That usually indicates that one or more of the bulbs have burned out. Turn on the left signal, get out of the vehicle and see which bulb is NOT turning on. Replace that bulb and the signal should work again. Also the flasher may not be working for one side.
Typically if the turn signal lamp on the dashboard stays on (i.e. does not blink), it means you have a burned out turn signal bulb on either the front or rear of the car. This is especially true if it happens only on one side (i.e. left or right turn signal). If the problem exists on both sides of the vehicle, check your flasher unit.
Bulb is burned out.
is the car on? do you have the signal on? is there a bulb? are there wires connected to the bulb? or just go to a mech and have him figure it out. simple.
The new bulb is already burned out, not seated properly in its socket, or you replaced the wrong one. Get out and look at the signal lights while they are blinking fast. Either the front or rear light is not blinking at all. That is the one that needs to be replaced.
often the blinker is made to blink faster when there is a bulb burned out
If it's only one side it usually means that there is a burned out bulb somewhere.
Change the front turn signal light bulb. It's bad.
