I just ran the OBD on my sons 99 ranger, it came up with these and a few other codes. If memory serves me right it was the EGR system air flow to low or some other such Mickey Mouse thing. I just cleaned out the EGR connections and the orifaces, Hasn't come back yet. Not 100% sure, but worth a try.
sounds like the eec purge sensor problem sounds like the eec purge sensor problem I believe that is the "On Board Diagostics Series Two" Trouble codes are stored in the computer ..then "read out" by a code reader ; to AID in determining the faulty component RC
The 2000 Ford Ranger was equipped with two different 3.0L 6-cylinder options between codes 'U' and 'V' (Flex-Fuel). Both engines have a coolant service fill of 14.8 quarts.

I found the problem on my own. The leads to the oxygen sensors where reversed when put back together. Easy to do since my Ranger has 2.

All 1995 and later model vehicles require an OBDII scanner tool to retrieve the trouble codes.
No. You need codes and a friend who has pearl. (and Pokemon ranger) or YOU could have Pokemon pearl and Pokemon ranger not just your friends.
