It is quite possible that a wet floor on a 1996 Oldsmobile Silhouette is caused by a leak in the body that allowed rain water to get into the passenger area. Window seals and the seals around the front firewall could have been damaged enough for this to happen.
Probably a vacuum leak. Do you have a code P0171 or P0174?
This is not a DIY job. You have neither the tools, nor the knowledge to do this correctly. You must have a leak or it would not need recharging. It is illegal to add refrigerant to a system with a leak. The leak must be repaired before the system is recharged. Take it to a professional for repair and recharging.
Have the coolant system pressure tested, the pressure test will increase the coolant leak.
Radiator or hoses. Possible water pump
Does it leak on the passenger front flooor?
Check every hose line one by one and it's connection to the engine. Some hoses rot at the connections and can be cut back and reattached. If not - install new hose.
One reason that a shower would leak even after replacing the Delta cartridge could be because of the O rings. You may have to replace them.
I have used radiator stop leak before in my 1996 Olds Achieva SC with the V6. I put it directly into the coolant resovor. It went in fine for me. This did not give me much help though. I would not recommend using stop leak. It will clog your heater core and then you will have more than the radiator as your problem. Fine a new radiator and replace it that is the best advidce i can give you.
Have you heater core replaced.
Where is the leak at? Engine?
sounds like ya have a heater core leak . time to take her apart
