To adjust the kick down cable there is a clip that u remove and adjust the sheth lenght. if you cant get enough adjustment from that they sell replacement cables that are adjustable. The technical name is Detent cable

Hi, What year corvette are you working on?? If its a C-3 there are a number of places to adjust depending on what the problem is. If you take the door panel off, you will see the two tracks that hold the window in place. At the top you will see 4 blots per track that will adjust most of the window. The power window travel for a 77 Corvette is adjusted by bolts that are in slotted holes. Remove the door panel. Make small adjustments to each adjustment slot until the window travels properly.
there is a screw on the carb. be sure to adjust while the engine is running so you can tell by the idle when it is set properly.
