make sure the trunk weather stripping is in perfect condition. water runs down the trunk and right into the tail light printed circuit/bulb sensor. if you open the trunk and water runs out that's a good indicator that weather stripping needs some attention. depending on how long water has been involved, freezing, road salt and chemicals. the circuit boards may need to be replaced

How do you repair a 2001 Honda Accord when the instrument lights parking lights and tailights all go out?

You could check the fuse box under the hood. More than likely the fuse is blown because all of those items should be on the same circuit. I own a 2000 Honda Accord and received a safety recall from Honda concerning the instrument lights for the 2000 & 2001 Accord LX coupe.

1996 t100 wont start.shift indicator shows that it is in neutral while its in park. Is this a sign of the neutral safety switch?

Most likely it is. I have had several neutral safety switch issues before, and it sounds like what happened to me. If you put it in reverse do the reverse lights light up? If not that is also a safety switch problem.

Will you receive a warning the patrol officer if brake lights are not working?

If your brake lights are not working, and you get stopped you may get just a warning, but more likely a "Fix-It" ticket, Brake lights are a very important safety feature. You will have however many days the law says in your State to get them fixed, then you must take it to the Highway Patrol Station, local Police station, or any cop that will sign off on it, then take that to the court to prove they are repaired. There is usually no fine if you do it in time.

When starting your vehicle what should you make sure is off audo locks or warning lights?

Neither! Both are extreme necessities and should not be driven without. These are safety measures to insure the best experience within the safety precautions. But if you MUST, then I'd say the auto locks because as soon as you get in the car you can lock it. On the other hand if your car is hit or being hijacked then the warning lights (or alarm in general) will come to great use. Hope that settles it, even though turning off either is pretty hazardous...

Why are the abs and asc warning lights on on your BMW 850?

The abs and asc warning lights come on when there is a problem with the ABS computer or the ABS Module you should have it taken to the dealer immediatly if your car is an automatic. The computer also will prevent your speedometer from working and thus cause problems with your transmission computer in 3rd and 4th gear. If your car is a manual you are okay to drive but your Safety features such as the ABS and traction control (ASC) will not work :(.
