this is caused by one of two things. the drivers seatbelt receiver(the thing you put the belt into) has a sensor in it. find the wires that go to it and unplug the inline plug. the light should turn off. if it does not, try putting a jumper wire between the 2 terminals on the harness side (not the seatbelt side) if the light still stays on it needs a seatbelt assembly. its located low on the "b" pillar. you need to remove some trim pieces and a couple bolts to replace it. good luck!
Underneath the steering column
Mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.
In my Toyota tercel model 1998 is located in right part of the engine, next to the windshield. Right beside the brake fluid canister. I hope that helps.
The 1998 Toyota signal relay switch is located below the dashboard, on the drivers side. The signal switch simply plugs in and out.
It does not have a fuel pump cutoff switch.
There is no carburetor on a 1998 tercel, it's fuel injection. Just go get a can of sea foam mootor tune up in a can and pour into your fuel tank. and that should clean your fuel injector nozels.
the gap should be: 0.044" (according to http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/part_finder/index.asp)
The 1998 Toyota ignition coil is located on the firewall, in the engine compartment. The ignition coil can be found on the passenger side of the firewall.
Most likely the cause is a bad connection in that particular electrical circuit. There is a lot of time involved in trying to find exactly where that bad connection would be. Not worth fixing, in my opinion.
How do you reset the Airbag warning light on a 1995 Toyota Avalon?
There is a little wedge at the bottom, stick a nail fail there and pop it out. Then you just have to pull the cover down to reveal the speakers
Replace the bulb that is burnt out.
