How to catch DarkraiYou need to have Mystery Gift. To get Mystery Gift go to Jublife City and go to the 3rd floor. Talk to the man and he'll ask you something about watching TV. Put: Everyone Happy. Now press comfirm and select yes. Now put in: Wi Fi Connection. And he'll say he'll pull some strings and give you Mystery Gift. Save the game then turn it off. Turn it back on and below New Game there will be Mystery Gift. Put in the Wireless Adapter for the DS. And then hit Receive Gift. Then select any of the three options. If one of them doesn't work try the other one until you get it. Then you got to select the event for Darkrai. But you have to get Darkrai downloaded to your game then you can do it. You have to do that in Japan. Then once you got Darkrai downloaded to your game select the Mystery Gift Event for Darkrai. Go to any Pokemart and talk to the man in the green shirt. He'll give you a Member Pass. Go to the northern house in Canalave City and you will take a nap in the bed. You can't do this until you find Cresselia on Fullmoon Island. Once you did that, go to the northern house in Canalave City and you will sleep in the bed. You will appear on Newmoon Island. Go to the opening where Darkrai is. Save the game then battle Darkrai. You cannot leave the island until you catch or defeat Darkrai. You'll want to catch it. Darkrai is at lvl 40.

OR you can use action replay or if you have an R4 use cheats.Use the walk through anything cheat. When your on fullmoon island you keep on going right(east) and walk on water. WHen you see land, that is new moon island. Look for and opening then walk through. When your inside, darkrai will be in front of you. Save your game and battle. (only works for Pokemon D/P)

now the events have passed you can use pokegen to get him or use it to get the item you need for him.

if you want to catch darkrai in Pokemon diamond you need the mystery gift if you have the mystery gift go to it every day and one day there will be a member card there. if you have the member card already go to the place in pastoria city and go to the secret tree and maybe you will find darkrai there, there are to secret trees at pastoria city buy the way.

Go to a Nintendo Event or use an Action Replay however there are no current events in order to get Darkrai. Another way is to get Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, beat the game, then send the Darkrai to your game via Mystery Gift however that also requires a special Nintendo event download which is no longer available.

With Action ReplayMethod 1

Go to Canalave City, talk to the Sailor then go to Fullmoon Island. Save your game then turn it off. Insert an Action Replay with the cheat "walk through walls" and reload the game. Once on, walk directly right from Fullmoon Island and you will find Newmoon Island where Darkrai is.

Method 2

Complete Iron Island and talk to the boy and his mother in Sailor Eldridge's house in Canalave City. Sailor Eldridge will ask you to go to Fullmoon Island to get the Lunar Wing to cure his son. Go to the Canalave dock and go to Fullmoon Island. Cresselia is there. When you try to examine it, it flies off and leaves behind an item. Pick it up and go back to the sailor's house. Talk to the boy again and he is eventually cured then press L+R when entering the PokéMart (this is the part that requires Action Replay). A guy in a green uniform will appear. Talk to him and he will give you the Member's Card. Go to the inn at the top of Canalave that is usually locked. A creepy guy makes you go to sleep and you wake up on Newmoon Island. This is where Darkrai is.

from the island that you see cresselia go right to the new moon island and inside the swamp darkrai will be there you don't need Nintendo event/member pass. you can also get the event item member pass then go to canalave city inside the locked door place. Darkrai, apearining as a man, will tell you to sleep, he goes in your dreams and you can cath him. hes legendary so get a master ball!!

To get Darkrai on Pokemon Diamond, you must have Wi-Fi access and the Mystery Gift option in the Menu. There is an event to get the Member's Pass (which allows you to get Darkrai) between August 3rd and September 23rd, 2009. The Member's Pass lets you into the Hotel with the kid with the nightmare that Darkrai gave him, and you eventually can get a ride to New Moon Island to catch Darkrai.
they have convensions at video game stores that give out darkrai's, or use action replay which i do no recomend it crashed my first diamond game

second you go into the house that is locked in canalave city

third go in and you will wake up in a new location, New Moon Island

Last Go in and battle darkrai

Tips:try to put it asleep and throw ultra balls and if night time use dusk balls

well unless ya got a Action Replay..there is no "cheat code" for it...infact there isn't a cheat code for anything in Pokemon diamond/pearl...how-ever to get it...first ya need intendo Wi-Fi or somttihng like it..then use it online..then go to any poke-mart or watever and next to the counter there shud be a guy in a green suit..speak with him and he will tell u where ya need to go (theres only a 25% chance to get darkrai) then when u go where he tells you ya will either get: an item, a egg, or a Pokemon. i THINK wen you first meet the guy he will give you a choice (not sure) then as i sed be4..ya just go to the place! if its a egg you need to walk like 200 steps with it in ur active Pokemon list-thingy.

hey i just typed in the code in my action replay then checked it off and i went to the place in canalave city it didn't open and i checked in my PC boxes (if im supposed to have it there) but its not there HELP?

There is an action replay code walk/run anywhere and use that on full moon island and go the direction of the boat for awhile and you will eventually get there.

You need to go to a Nintendo event or have an action replay, which you probably have at a local supermarket (got mine at Wal-Mart). Then you need to get the code for walk through walls which is

It was the ONLY code that worked for me, and my action replay is REALLY picky.

(Pokemon Diamond, USA, activates with R+b, deactivates with L+b)

Any way, once you have walk through walls, go to Full Moon Island from

Canalave, and then save. Then keep running to the right (yes you can walk on water) . You will eventually come to New Moon Island, and if you go into the glade from there, you will find Darkrai. I recommend a Master Ball. (I had 999 Master Balls from a glitch, I had it EASY, VERY EASY.)

If you have gone to an event, just go to Canalave and enter the locked hotel.

I don't know but I do know how to catch Darkrai in Diamond/Pearl without a cheat except an Action Replay. Use the tweaking glitch. You can find how to use the tweaking glitch at YouTube.
