How do you get Mew in Pokemon Platinum without Action Replay or cheats?

I personally don't think you can with out transferring it over from another game, but, some other people say that they have found ways. I've never tried them, but they might work.

1.Ok i know how to get mew in platinum.first you go to twinleaf town and use surf in that little lake.then you fly to snowpoint city and talk to every one.after you talked to every one, you have to fly back to twinlef town.talk to your mom and if she says,YOUR POKEMON DON'T WORK FOR THEM SELFS,THEY WORK FOR YOU.if she says that mew will apear in route 229.since mews are rare it'll take a long time for it to apear.if it does remember to bring a Pokemon that has shadow tag,or it'll run or flee.

2.Have 6 psychic Pokemon in your party that are fully evolved forms, and then go to Spear Pillar. You will run into mew and mew two. You must have the National Pokedex or it won't work.

3. Go on route 230 on Saturday at midnight

BTW: It is possible that none of these will work.

1. Beat the elite4. 2. Talk to professor Birch. 3. Press L1,L2,b,b,a,L1,down,down. 4. Than you shuld her a scream along away (thats Mew). 5. Get to Dewfort. 6. It shuld appear in the Granite Cave. 7. He is at lv.50 and shuld know: Calm mind, Psybeam, Recover, and Swift. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You cant get mew in firered OR leafgreen. you can only get mew in Emerald, on Faraway Island,or to some people known as "World's Edge Island." In firered and leafgreen is where you catch mewTWO.

Mew FireredIf you want to get mew you have to not go on the ship. But you have to trade over a Pokemon that knows surf. Once you do that you surf AROUND the ship and mew should appear.

first you must have the pokeflute and the fishing rod then go into any dark cave with water and fish once any Pokemon have been landed use the pokeflute ad catch the Pokemon once youhave caught it raise it to lv 100 and tada a mew..................................................................................................................................................................or not

Its the NOT part. Mew cannot be obtained in Fire red/leaf green without:

A) GameShark/action reply

B) Traded from Emerald (warp to faraway island with a GS or AR and catch him naturaly [what I do])

OR

C) Get lucky and have your emerald spawn them in the wild without any codes (My friend has that on his. I played it and captured 15 of them)

The easiest way to get Mew in platinum without action replay or cheats is to trade with someone who already has a Mew. However the trading online service for Platinium (and any non-3Ds game) will be turned off the 20th May.

The only woy to do it without a gameshark is to go to a ninteno event and download the old sea chart. In diamond and pearl and platinum you have to transfer it from another game
