How do you get an object in space?
With enough thrust to reach escape velocity - the speed needed to counter the pull of gravity and get out into space. Thrust is supplied b the engines on rockets.

volume is how much space is in an object (an object with more volume would be bigger) weight is how heavy an object feels due to gravity (an object with more weight would be harder to lift) density is how much matter is in an amount of space (an object with more density would weigh as much as an object with less density but in a smaller space/volume)
It will have the same mass no matter where the object is: free floating out in space or on a planet or on a powerful rocket rapidly accelerating. What will be different is weight, which is only observed while the object is experiencing forces: free floating out in space the object has no weight, but either sitting on a planet or accelerating on a powerful rocket the object does have weight.
