Animations are technically 'picture' files. So, your animation would have to be in one of the Picture Formats compatible with Windows Movie Maker:
.bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, .wmf
.GIFs are general animation formats used in the program.
Windows Movie Maker can only import Picture formats with one of the following file name extensions:
.bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, .wmf
As you can see, Graphic Interchange Format (.gif) files are acceptable. GIF's are 'animated files'. If your media is not in .gif format, it will not display the animation when imported into the program. Instead, the animation will appear as a 'Still Shot'.
Once you have imported the animation (gif) stretch it out on the time-line. It only works if you stretch it out.
Lyrics can be added to a song on Windows Movie Maker by using the Titles/Credits feature.
You can record on Windows Movie Maker by using the Narration feature. (Note: There is no Narration feature in the Windows Live Movie Maker version).
To add a Title page on Windows Movie Maker...In the time-line view of the program;> Click on Tools, Titles and Credits> Choose to place the Title "Before the Selected Clip"> Change color, font and animation in this menu> Click Add Title
Help with Windows Movie Maker v2.1 (for Xp) is available from:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/default.mspxNote: Click on the Windows Movie Maker How-To Center
Sorry. That can't be done on Windows Live Movie Maker.
You can make a movie on your PC using the Windows Movie Maker program which is already installed on your system.(If you have Windows 7 operating system, you can download Windows Live Movie Maker)
If you are using Windows 7 Movie Maker, it is a Windows Live Essentials version of the Windows Movie Maker 2.6 version. It is a 'stripped-down' version with limited features and functionality. Bottom line - you can't do much with Windows Live Movie Maker, including insertion of WordArt.
Im not sure if its different on any other versions of windows, but on windows 7 you save the movie for the computer. Then windows dvd maker recognises the file type. You are then able to add a menu to the movie. Hope this helps :) ♥
You can't animate in Windows Movie Maker. You can only use animations in the program.

No. You can't use Windows DVD Maker to upload videos with. But you can upload videos to YouTube using Windows Live Movie Maker.
