Most domestic ISP's already use dynamic IP's for security reasons. Check with your ISP. You may be able to Google seach for a company that host dynamically, I know there are a few that do the oposite (i.e. static IP's)
An IP Address (internet Protocol) is automatically set with your computer.
To know what your IP Address is, go here:
http://www.ipchicken.com/
In Windows NT, XP, Vista, etc., open a command prompt and run the command, ipconfig.exe. In Windows 9x, click Start-Run, and run the command, winipcfg.exe.
To get an IP address you can one of two things:
For the internel Ip address ( not usually needed ) do this:
1. Go to the start menu
2. Click run
3. type in "cmd" without the ""s.
4. type in "ipconfig /all" without the ""s.
Then you will be given a line that says something like this:
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2
The Ip address is: 192.168.1.2
For the externel IP ( Needed most often for any computer outside your network):
Check out: http://networktools.nl or http://www.whatismyip.com or http://www.whatismyip.net
You have to ask your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if you want to make your static IP change to dynamic IP.
You can find your public IP address on LocatedIP.com
You would need to ask your ISP to change your IP address. If you have a router then you can configure the router to change the ip
In Windows: Start > Run > "cmd"
"ipconfig"
how do you obtain network id from ip address
One - and it doesn't necessarily have to be a public IP address. Then you share this single IP address over the entire network, with NAT.
The network address of this ip address is 192.150.8 and 24 is host ip address
The IP address, '10.11.12.13' is not a valid address. This IP address is just a sample that is used.
The Number that Identifies all computers connected to a Network with Internet Access is called the I.P. Address. If you search Google for "IP Address" it will come up with something that says "Your Public IP Address is ..." (... will be where your IP address is)
how do you obtain network id from ip address
The IP address is obtained automatically using the DHCP protocol
Decipher the IP address means, obtain IP address using Hardware address, and basically we use RARP(Reverse address resolution protocol) to find out the IP address from hardware address.

Automatic Private IP Address was basically made so that clients which could not get an IP address automatically from a DHCP server could configure its own Private IP address until it can obtain address from the DHCP server which will override the APIPA and become the new IP address.
Reverse Address Resolution Protocol, obsoleted by BootP and DHCP, allows a computer to obtain an IP address after it has obtained an ethernet address. Bootstrap Protocol allows a computer to obtain an IP address when the operating system is starting up.
Reverse ARP is used to Obtain IP address from a Server(responsible for IP addresses allocation) by providing its layer 2 (MAC) address.

An e-mail address is not associated with any specific IP address. The only IP address that you can obtain from an e-mail address is the SMTP server that initially delivered the e-mail, not the machine from which the e-mail originated. The e-mail headers may contain the IP address of the original machine, however bear in mind that e-mail headers can be easily forged.
ARP stands for Address Resolution Protocol. This is IP's way of requesting a MAC address (or hardware address) from a host located at a certain IP address. In order for a host on a network to send a unicast packet across the network, it must know both the source and destination MAC addresses. ARP is used to obtain a MAC address similar to the way DNS is used to obtain an IP address from a domain name (www.anydomain.com).
not sure what kinds of system you are running...but...click on your router (probably some kind of icon found in your system) and under some category it should have your ip address or steps to follow to obtain the ip address.
